Michael Kors was born on August 9, 1959 in Long Island, New York. Michael had some opportunities growing up because his mother was a model and fashion designer. From a little boy growing up to high school he loved fashion. Michael Kors was American born and raised but he has a Jewish mother and Sweden father. His background of his mother influenced his lifestyle tremendously it really pushed him into the fashion industry.
Michael Kors has memorable moments. He was listed on the most influential people in the world in 2012. He also won best fashion designer for men and women at two different times. Kors has helped shape American society by people wanting him to travel the world and design clothing. Many people have changed the way that they dress because of his style and influence.
Michael Kors altered his plans along the way many times. The first time was changing his name and then going to college. Kors did not think that he would drop out of college to work in a small boutique. He then started his own small business and then created Michael Kors a billion dollar fashion company known around the world. I learned that just because you do not come from the best background or have the most money if you strive for what you want you will make it.
He followed HUNT by first knowing what he wanted in life which is H-arness your vision.
